At Mint Design our aim is to disrupt a sector that often times does not quite work. We do this by being more transparent than almost any competitor.
We are a family business. Small enough to keep overheads low, experienced enough to deliver to the high standards expected of the industry big hitters.
Why does this matter? Simply put, Lower overheads = Lower cost to us. Lower costs to us = Lower cost to You.
But How?
Investment in people & technology rather a physical business premises.
What are the common issues in this sector?
1. It is very difficult to get a straight answer on pricing in this industry;
So we display the prices for a variety of common project types.
2. There are many hidden costs in this industry;
So the prices we display are the prices you pay, unless the project changes drastically or at a late stage.
3. There is lack of consistency between the best and worst in this industry;
a) Top Architectural firms follow various standards and conventions. This professionalism comes at a monetary cost, and in all fairness, rightly so.
b) The worst of the plans drawn companies fail to meet any sort of standards. This lack of professionalism comes at a practical cost & is the gamble associated with getting what you pay for. Which brings us to;
c) At Mint we believe that Getting what you pay for should be option a) minus the big overheads associated with running an office & all that jazz.
In short, we are a small, well equipped & highly competent team, who can work remotely.
No office = Lower cost of services (without compromising on standards).
Lower cost (without compromising on standards) = Happy customers.
Coming back to transparency, don't take our word for it on pricing, check out the cost guide articles found on checkatrade.
